The turtle is a very important deity for the Mayans. The rounded shell of the turtle symbolises the earth and certain myths depict the turtle as carrying the world on its back.
 
In one powerful myth, the maize god is reborn from a turtle shell, which splits open to release him. This symbolises life emerging from death, tying the turtle to agricultural fertility and resurrection. The cracked turtle shell is often seen as a portal or womb from which new life or gods emerge.
 
This is a powerful drum for connecting to the parts that want to be reborn within you. What were the parts of you that needed to be pushed away in order to fit into your family dynamic? This drum can be a portal to reclaim these parts and utilise them for a more wholesome and creative life.
 
This is a 14’ drum with a cross handle. A cinnabar crystal is tied into the centre of the handle.

    Because each drum is either personalised and/or made to order, we do not accept returns or offer refunds unless the item is faulty or not as described.

    If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your item. In the case of a return:

    • The item must be returned in its original condition.

    • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
